Season I - A Legacy in the Making
March 31, April 1, and 2, 2023 — three days that redefined diplomacy at Vasavi! The inaugural Vasavi MUN burst onto the scene with five electrifying committees — DISEC, UNHRC, AIPPM, MARVEL (Thematic Committee), and IP — each a battleground for fiery debates, high-stakes diplomacy, and legendary speeches. Delegates from across universities clashed over global crises, formed unexpected alliances, and orchestrated political masterstrokes that could rival the UN itself! The conference attracted 150 delegates from more than 30 schools and colleges!
But it wasn’t just the debates that made history — it was the passion, the intensity, and the camaraderie that turned this MUN into an unforgettable spectacle. With a powerhouse Secretariat ensuring everything ran flawlessly, Vasavi MUN Season 1 wasn’t just a success; it was the beginning of a legacy. One thing became crystal clear: Vasavi MUN had arrived, and it was here to stay.
Season II - Where Winter Meets World Affairs
As the temperatures dropped, the debates heated up! Vasavi Winter MUN Season 2 took center stage on December 1, 2, and 3, 2023, bringing together some of the sharpest minds in diplomacy. With five powerhouse committees — IP, DISEC, UNEP, UNCSW, and AIPPM —alongside the IP International Press, delegates dived headfirst into intense negotiations, From climate action to global security and fiery political showdowns. With around 250 participants, the conference became a hub for insightful debates,it wasn't just a meeting of minds— it was a spectacle of diplomacy at its finest. The Secretariat and Organising Committee oversaw logistics, food, and transportation. And beyond the debates? A festive Christmas-themed décor and sparkling lights, the meeting concluded on a high note, fostering a joyous atmosphere and an amazing time. We proved that Diplomacy never takes a break,even during winter!
Season III - Bigger, Bolder, and Better!
The third season of Vasavi MUN was nothing short of spectacular! From October 18 - 20, 2024, over 320 passionate delegates took the stage, making this our most electrifying edition yet. With six thrilling committees — AIPPM, DISEC, CCC, UNHRC, UNODC, and IP — the debates were intense, the diplomacy was sharp, and the stakes were higher than ever, literally, thanks to our massive reward pool this time! This year, we raised the bar even further!
But that’s not all — this year, we welcomed top-tier delegates from leading engineering and medical universities, alongside a powerhouse of experienced EBs. A huge shoutout to The Secretary, AUSG, and the Organizing Committee for making this an event to remember From seamless logistics to curating an unforgettable experience,their dedication turned this conference into a masterpiece of diplomacy and debate.
